KARASTAN AIRS ON “MADE IN AMERICA”
DALTON, GA, July 3, 2007—Made in America, a Travel Channel television feature that honors American inventors and manufacturers, recently broadcasted a segment on U.S. carpet and rug manufacturer—Karastan.
Host John Ratzenberger, took viewers on a tour of the company’s manufacturing facility in Eden, North Carolina while sharing the story of Karastan’s incredible history. Karastan’s journey from the invention of its patented Axminster looms in 1928 to the continued innovations of today’s carpet and rug styles were detailed as viewers watched the making of a Karastan rug. Ratzenberger also highlighted the story of Karastan broadloom and recognized the 600 Americans who proudly make Karastan carpets and rugs in the Eden facility.
